I am a great believer in Karma, but just what is it? Karma comes from the Sanskrit and ancient Indian Language with the underlying principal that every deed in our lives will affect our future life. For example, if we treat others badly during our lifetime we will have negative experiences later on in that lifetime or in future lifetimes. Likewise, if we treat others well we will be rewarded by positive experiences.

THE SPELL

THE SPELL

She walks in shadows hoping to be unseen
Her hair of gold shimmers in moonlight sheen
It tumbles softly over shoulders soft
The moon smiles kindly in skies aloft
Alone and swiftly in her steps she glides
Checking she is quite alone she hides
For her purpose is to cast a spell
Quite unseen in shadows dwell
And from her pocket she takes her wares
And lighted candle into flame she stares
And then the flame's extinguished the spell is cast
The work is done fate will come to pass

Rituals/Spells/Protection and Moon Phases

For all rituals it's important to be aware of the phases of the moon

This section deals mostly with protecting ourselves from negativity so the rituals and spell work here are purely for protection. It is very important not to wish harm on another

PROTECTING OURSELVES FROM NEGATIVITY

PROTECTIVE CRYSTALS

Protective crystals vary and can be black agate, amethysts, bloodstones, carnelians, garnets, black and red jasper, lapis lazuli, rose and smokey quartz, tigers eye, topaz and turquoise.

Carry one or more in a dark silk purse about your person when entering a potential hostile situation.

You can also use protective crystals on a desk or table between you and potential sources of hostility and negativity to protect you from someone dumping all their negativity/woes on to you and draining your energy. I reguarly do this when meeting potential clients.

Keep a large chunk of rose quartz or amethyst beside your bed whilst you sleep

Frequently wash the crystals in running water to cleanse them visualising you are rinsing them in a waterfall and that negativity is transformed into positive energy. if you have been in a very negative situation after cleansing them in running water, sprinkle with salt and pass them over an incense stick or oil burner evaporating lavender, pine or rose oil. Wrap the crystals in a dark cloth and allow to rest for a few days before using again

A SPELL TO STOP MALICIOUS GOSSIP

This spell is from THE SPELLS BIBLE by Ann-Marie Gallagher

A friend asked me for a particular spell to protect her from a wrong doer so I thought I would share it here with my readers. Now it is wrong to wish harm on another person as it will only come back on you, but what you can do, is send it back, whatever thoughts they have of you. You are merely protecting yourself.

Although this spell can be cast at anytime it is the most powerful when cast on a dark moon, this is the best time for psychic protection spells.

Ingredients

One black candle 6 to 8 inches in length / 15 to 20 cm
Matches or a lighter
Strands of hair from the wrong doer (easier than you think and no you don't have to creep up behind them with a pair of scissors or pull out their hair. Most people have a few loose hairs on their shoulder or clothing so nonchalantly you can wander up say hello and pick up one or two stray hairs of their collar)
One 4 inch / 10 cm length of black woollen thread
One circular mirror at least 4 inches / 10 cm in diameter
One container of salt with a flow hole
An open fire in a grate, a brazier or a bonfire outside

Method

Cast the spell in your sacred space ideally a circle in the middle of a room that you use for spell work
Light the candle whilst saying

Dark of moon
All powers surround
Bless this space as sacred ground
Ill confine and harm confound
As I walk this circle round

Walk the circle in a counter clockwise direction carrying the candle with you
Return to the centre and set the candle down
Tie the strands of hair in a tight knot with the black wool whilst saying

(Name of wrong doer) by my actions you are bound

Place the hair in the centre of the mirror and pour a circle of salt around it whilst saying

As I make this circle round

Breathe onto the mirror and throw the hair and salt into the fire whilst saying

Evil's death
By my breath

This should stop them bad mouthing you, by doing this you are not wishing them harm all you are doing is stopping them from bad mouthing you

The book above is one of my favourite spell books from my collection of spell books

What is a wish? It's a hope or desire for something to come true. If you take it further and make that wish a spell it becomes a concentrated thought form.

Every time you have a thought you create a thought form and that thought form is an energy that goes out into the Cosmos and can create an effect. You should never wish ill on anyone for everything you do you get back tenfold. If someone has hurt you no matter how much it hurts send them out healing energy and love, so that they might see the error of their ways. Allow the Universe and Karma to deal with wrong doers, for Karma will always find them and deal with them in the most appropriate way.

When you use spell work to enhance your wish always do your spell for the highest good, you must never wish ill on anyone nor must you covet someone's partner or material objects.

A spell is only as powerful as the energy that you put into it. True belief and concentration are necessary.

If you know your herbs and what they are used for, some of your best spells will be those you develop yourself. Of course, not all spells require herbs, or any tools for that matter. The energy and visualization from within you is very powerful.

  • Keep whole bay leaf in the corners of the rooms in your house to protect from any unwanted spirits.
  • Toss a bit of rosemary toward danger.. including people you want to stay away from you.
  • Sprinkle salt in doorways and window sills to avoid unwanted visitors.
  • Salt is a purifier, use it to cleanse tools after they are used.

A SIMPLE CANDLE SPELL

This is just a simple generic candle spell that you can adapt to most anything you need. If you use it, please use it wisely. Don't use it to interfere with anyone else's life.

Find a spot where you will not be disturbed for awhile, and will have reasonable quiet. Use a flat level service, such as an altar. If you don't have an altar, you can use a coffee table or dresser. You can perform this spell during the day, or at night. If you do it at night, you can turn the lights off, but if it makes you uncomfortable, leave them on.

You will need a candle, oil for anointing the candle, one or more herbs corresponding to the spell. You will also need your athame, or straight pin if you don't have an athame. You can also use stones if you want. Check herb and color correspondences for the appropriate color, herb and oils. The shape of the candle does not really matter. Taper or Votive candles will work. If you can't find the color you need, use plain white.

Carve what you wish to accomplish into the candle with the athame or pin. If you are using a taper, carve the words from top to bottom, for increasing and bottom to top for decreasing. If you are using a votive candle, carve it around the candle clockwise for increasing, counterclockwise for decreasing.
Anoint the candle with the oil. A drop is enough. Rub from wick to end for increasing and end to wick for decreasing.

Put the candle in the holder. Sprinkle the herbs in a circle around the base of the candle, a pinch is more than enough. If you are using stones, set them in a circle around the candle holder. If you are using just one stone, set it beside the holder in the direction that corresponds to the purpose of your spell. For example, if you were doing a spell to increase your physical energy, you might set the stone in the south.

Light the candle. As you light the candle, visualize what you want to accomplish. To do this, think of what you need and hold a picture of it in your mind. You can also use a chant at this point or just say what you want to happen out loud. This is optional, in my opinion, visualization is the most effective.

Let the candle burn out completely if possible. DO Not leave it unattended. If you have to leave or go to sleep, put the candle out and relight it as soon as you can. No matter how safe you think your candle holders are, accidents can happen. ALWAYS monitor your candles, and use fireproof holders.

When the candle has burned out, dispose of the wax and herbs. Bury it if possible.

Color Correspondences

  • White: All Purpose, but especially good for purification, protection, truth, Maiden Aspect of the Goddess
  • Black: protection, absorbing negative energies, Crone Aspect of the Goddess, reversing and transforming negativity, removing obstacles or blocks
  • Red: Protection, energy, defense, element of fire, Mother Aspect of the Goddess, passionate love, motivation, action being taken
  • Pink: calm, love, reconciliation, children, peace
  • Blue: truth, creativity, protection, element of water
  • Green: Money, Prosperity, abundance, element of earth, success, marriage
  • Gold: The God, The sun, healing, prosperity
  • Silver: the goddess, the moon, neutralizing negative energies
  • Purple: protection, divination, psychic abilities, change luck, removing negative energies and spells, spiritual protection
  • Yellow: divination, element of air, healing, intellect
  • Magenta: added to any spell to speed results
  • Indigo: neutralize negative magic or negative energies
You can use most any type of candle with success. As long as the intention and faith it there, the candle doesn’t much matter.  7-day vigil or 2 day jar candles: these take a bit of time to burn out. They come glass encased and need no holder. You can carve your spell intent into the top of the candle, clockwise for increasing, counterclockwise for decreasing, or you can add a label to the jar with your spell intent. Anoint the top of the candle as stated above. If you use herbs, use a VERY light sprinkling, as they make it more likely the candle will catch fire and the glass will split. A good idea is to place them in a metal container in case the glass cracks which happens occasionally. They are good when you need an extra energy boost because of their tendency to burn a long time.

Votives: can be used same as above, for a shorter burning time.  The advantage of votives in a glass holder is that you can anoint the full candle with oils and herbs before you put them in the holder. Again put them on a metal or stone surface in the interests of fire safety.

Watch how your candles burn for signs as to how successful your spell may be. Your best result is where most of the wax is used and there is little or no blackness or soot. Soot can mean obstacles or adversity., and its wise to do a cleansing or working to remove these obstacles. Candles going out are also a VERY bad sign and may require repeated workings to wear down resistance.

A BINDING SPELL

This is one of the most basic binding spells, and used to keep someone away who is bothering you.  It doesn't really stop any specific action, just keeps them out of your path.

WHAT YOU NEED

• A piece of cardboard

• A long piece of black yarn

• Black marker

Cut out the rough shape of a person from the cardboard, and write the person's name on it in big letters with the marker. If you don't know their name, this spell won't be as effective but you can still give it a shot. Write how you know them instead (such as “annoying guy on bus").
Start chanting the following words, while you wrap the cardboard around and around with black yarn.

I bind you left,

I bind you right,

I bind you now,

Stay out of my sight

I bind you day,

I bind you night,

I bind you now,

With all my might

Keep repeating the words and wrapping until the little cardboard person is well covered-up. Tie three knots to secure the yarn.
You can then bury the charm outside. If you have an altar then you can place it there but if you do that, then repeat the chant each day to keep it working.

If you have ever experienced a broken relationship you will understand when I say it feels as if part of you is missing, this is because in effect is what has happened. When you have deep feelings for someone your auric field reaches out to that other person like a tentacle to be with them. People who are deeply in love will often say that their loved one is with them. However when that relationship breaks up suddenly it does literally, create this sensation that part of you is missing.
This is not the same as when a relationship ends due to the other person passing over in death so do not try this ritual to get over a bereavement. Grieving is a natural process.

CUTTING TIES RITUAL WHEN A RELATIONSHIP HAS ENDED

There are several rituals this is the one I have used and recommend.

It is done through visualisation and can be performed as much as necessary in the passing of time, you will find you wont feel you have the need to do it.

Visualise you are standing opposite the one you wish to cut ties with

And visualise a ribbon of each associated colour with each chakra  for example red for base, orange for sacral, yellow for solar plexus, green or pink for the heart, blue for throat, indigo for third eye and purple for crown. These coloured ribbons join each of you together.

As you face one another smile and send love. at the same time visualise a pink cloud surrounding both you feet, pink is associated with love.

Now visualise a pair of ornate golden scissors cutting each ribbon in turn starting at the base chakra, as you cut each ribbon each end curls back to each person and at the same time the pink cloud rises up to obscure the other.

All the time smiling and sending them love to see them on their way. Gradually as you cut you will obscure the person you are cutting ties with and with the final tie complete you have sent them away with love to live their own life and yours.

You will have to do this a few times and every time you think of them do this visualisation, You will notice as time passes you wont think of them so much and you will be able to do the ritual quicker and easier and it will no longer hurt if your thoughts do turn to the person you are cutting ties with.

Do not do this ritual after a bereavement or when you are in an actual relationship with someone. It should only be used when the relationship is over and no longer serves a purpose. To allow you both to move on, one neither hating the other, that is why you smile and send love as you send them on their way.

The article below describes how Wicca draws from the Old Traditions of Witchcraft. While this is true, we would simply like to clarify that Witchcraft and Wicca, while similar in many respects, are not the same.  One can be a Witch, without being a Wiccan, just as a person can be a Christian, without being a Baptist.  Wicca is a recognized religion, while Witchcraft itself is not considered a religion.  Thus, Wicca might best be described as a modern religion, based on ancient Witchcraft traditions.

What Is Wicca

Contrary to what those who choose to persecute or lie about us wish to believe, Wicca is a very peaceful, harmonious and balanced way of life which promotes oneness with the divine and all which exists.

Wicca is a deep appreciation and awe in watching the sunrise or sunset, the forest in the light of a glowing moon, a meadow enchanted by the first light of day.   It is the morning dew on the petals of a beautiful flower, the gentle caress of a warm summer breeze upon your skin, or the warmth of the summer sun on your face.   Wicca is the fall of colorful autumn leaves, and the softness of winter snow.   It is light, and shadow and all that lies in between.  It is the song of the birds and other creatures of the wild.   It is being in the presence of Mother Earths nature and being humbled in reverence.   When we are in the temple of the Lord and Lady, we are not prone to the arrogance of human technology as they touch our souls.   To be a Witch is to be a healer, a teacher, a seeker, a giver, and a protector of all things.   If this path is yours, may you walk it with honor, light and integrity.

Wicca is a belief system and way of life based upon the reconstruction of pre-Christian traditions originating in Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.   While much of the information of how our ancestors lived, worshiped and believed has been lost due to the efforts of the medieval church to wipe our existence from history, we try to reconstruct those beliefs to the best of our ability with the information that is available.

Thanks to archaeological discoveries, we now have basis to believe that the origins of our belief system can be traced even further back to the Paleolithic peoples who worshipped a Hunter God and a Fertility Goddess.   With the discovery of these cave paintings, estimated to be around 30,000 years old, depicting a man with the head of a stag, and a pregnant woman standing in a circle with eleven other people, it can reasonably be assumed that Witchcraft is one of the oldest belief systems known in the world toady.   These archetypes are clearly recognized by Wiccan as our view of the Goddess and God aspect of the supreme creative force and predate Christianity by roughly 28,000 years making it a mere toddler in the spectrum of time as we know it.

Witchcraft in ancient history was known as "The Craft of the Wise" because most who followed the path were in tune with the forces of nature, had a knowledge of Herbs and medicines, gave council and were valuable parts of the village and community as Shamanic healers and leaders.   They understood that mankind is not superior to nature, the earth and its creatures but instead we are simply one of the many parts, both seen and unseen that combine to make the whole.   As Chief Seattle said; "We do not own the earth, we are part of it."   These wise people understood that what we take or use, we must return in kind to maintain balance and equilibrium. Clearly, modern man with all his applied learning and technology has forgotten this.   Subsequently, we currently face ecological disaster and eventual extinction because of our hunger for power and a few pieces of gold.

For the past several hundred years, the image of the Witch has been mistakenly associated with evil, heathenism, and unrighteousness.   In my humble opinion, these misconceptions have their origin in a couple of different places.

To begin, the medieval church of the 15th through 18th centuries created these myths to convert the followers of the old nature based religions to the churches way of thinking.   By making the Witch into a diabolical character and turning the old religious deities into devils and demons, the missionaries were able to attach fear to these beliefs which aided in the conversion process.    Secondly, as medical science began to surface, the men who were engaged in these initial studies had a very poor understanding of female physiology, especially in the area of a women's monthly cycles.   The unknowns in this area played very well with the early churches agenda lending credence to the Witch Hunters claims and authority.   The fledgling medical professions also stood to benefit greatly from this because it took the power of the women healers away giving it to the male physicians transferring the respect and power to them.

Unfortunately these misinformed fears and superstitions have carried forward through the centuries and remain to this day.   This is why many who follow these nature oriented beliefs have adopted the name of Wicca over its true name of Witchcraft to escape the persecution, harassment and misinformation associated with the name of Witchcraft and Witch not to mention the bad publicity the press and Hollywood has given us simply to generate a profit.

What Witchcraft is:
Witchcraft is a spiritual system that fosters the free thought and will of the individual, encourages learning and an understanding of the earth and nature thereby affirming the divinity in all living things.   Most importantly however, it teaches responsibility.   We accept responsibility for our actions and deeds as clearly a result of the choices we make.   We do not blame an exterior entity or being for our shortcomings, weaknesses or mistakes.   If we mess up or do something that brings harm to another, we have no one but ourselves to blame and we must face the consequences resulting from those actions.   No ifs, ands or buts and no whining...

We acknowledge the cycles of nature, the lunar phases and the seasons to celebrate our spirituality and to worship the divine.   It is a belief system that allows the Witch to work with, not in supplication to deities with the intent of living in harmony and achieving balance with all things.

The spells that we do involve healing, love, harmony, wisdom and creativity.   The potions that we stir might be a headache remedy, a cold tonic, or an herbal flea bath for our pets.   We strive to gain knowledge of and use the natural remedies placed on this earth by the divine for our benefit instead of using synthetic drugs unless absolutely necessary.

Wiccan believe that the spirit of the One, Goddess and God exist in all things.   In the trees, rain, flowers, the sea, in each other and all of natures creatures.   This means that we must treat "all things" of the Earth as aspects of the divine.   We attempt to honor and respect life in all its many manifestations both seen and unseen.

Wiccan learn from and revere the gift of nature from divine creation by celebrating the cycles of the sun, moon and seasons.   We search within ourselves for the cycles that correspond to those of the natural world and try to live in harmony with the movement of this universal energy.   Our teachers are the trees, rivers, lakes, meadows, mountains and animals as well as others who have walked this path before us.   This belief creates a reverence and respect for the environment, and all life upon the Earth.

We also revere the spirits of the elements of Earth, Air, Fire and Water which combine to manifest all creation.   From these four elements we obtain insight to the rhythms of nature and understand they are also the rhythms of our own lives.

Because Witches have been persecuted for so many centuries, we believe in religious freedom first!   We do not look at our path as the only way to achieve spirituality, but as one path among many to the same end.   We are not a missionary religion out to convert new members to think the same as we do.   We are willing to share our experience and knowledge with those who seek our wisdom and perspective however.   We believe that anyone who is meant for this path will find it through their own search as the Goddess speaks to each of us in her time and way.   Wiccan practice tolerance and acceptance toward all other religions as long as those faiths do not persecute others or violate the tenant of "Harm None."

What Witchcraft is not:
More information about Witchcraft is available in the Frequently Asked Questions section, but in the interim, here are the main points.
  • Witchcraft or Wicca is not a cult.   We do not proclaim ourselves to be spokespersons for the divine or try to get others to follow us as their leaders.
  • We do not worship Satan or consort with Demons.   Satan is a Christian creation and they can keep him.   We do not need a paranoid creation of supreme evil and eternal damnation to scare us into doing the right thing and helping others.   We choose to do the right thing and love our brothers and sisters because it IS the right thing and it feels good to do it.   I suppose it is a maturity thing.
  • We do not sacrifice animals or humans because that would violate our basic tenant of "Harm None."   Anyone who does and claims to be a Wiccan or a Witch is lying.
  • We have no need to steal or control the life force of another to achieve mystical or supernatural powers.   We draw our energy from within, our personal relationship with the divine and nature.
  • We do not use the forces of nature or the universe to hex or cast spells on others.   Again, "Harm None" is the whole of the law.
Witches have a very strict belief in the Law of Three which states that whatever we send out into our world shall return to us three fold either good or bane.   With this in mind, a "True Witch" would hesitate in doing magick to harm or manipulate another because that boomerang we throw will eventually come back to us much larger and harder then when we threw it.

This is not to say that Witches are perfect, we are human too just like everyone else and make mistakes and errors in judgment.   Just as there are parents who love and nurture their children, there are parents who abuse their children.   As there are many who devote their lives to giving and helping mankind, likewise there are those who devote their lives to taking advantage of and using people for their own gain.   Unfortunately the same flaws in human nature applies to witches too.

Most of us continually strive to consider all potential outcomes of our thoughts and actions pausing to seriously consider the consequences before undertaking a ritual, spell or rite that could go astray.   It is when we follow the path with the love of the Goddess in our hearts and adhere to the basic tenant of the Reed that our works are beneficial and we achieve harmony and balance with all things.

The heart of Wicca is not something summed up into a few short words and can often take on different meaning to each since the Lord and Lady touch us in different ways.   To gain a fuller understanding of the Craft, I urge you visit the other pages on this site as well as following the links to a select group of exceptional Wiccan and Witchcraft sites.   Through the wisdom and words set down through the ages, you will find that you are able to understand the basis of our beliefs and how they may apply to you.   Your inner voice will also quickly let you know if the intent of what you are reading is for superficial purposes to benefit self instead of working to benefit the whole.   Remember to read with your heart, for it is when you see life and the world with your heart and spirit that you truly gain an understanding of what Wicca is.

Blessed Be!

Herne

Q.  Do Witches cast spells?

A.  Some do and some don't. Spellwork should never be the focus of following this path and those who seek our ways only for this purpose are very misguided. A spell is a ritual formula, or series of steps, to direct psychic energy to accomplish a desired end. This energy is drawn from the Earth with the aid of elementals, concentrated and sent out into the world to achieve a positive goal. Since Witchcraft teaches that whatever one sends out is returned threefold, Witches are very careful to never send out harmful energy carelessly. The Christian word for this is "Prayer". The only real difference is that Witches also invoke the aid of spirit guides, familiars or other elemental energies to add strength to the process as well as using ritual tools.

Q.  Do Witches worship the devil?

A.  No. Satan, or the Devil, has absolutely no place in Wicca or Witchcraft. The worship of Satan is the practice of profaning Christian symbolism and is thus a Christian heresy, rather than a Pagan religion. The Goddess and God of the Witches are in no way connected to Satanic practices. Satan, or the Devil, is a Christian creation and they are more than welcome to keep him.

Q.  If Witches don't have a bible, what do you use?

A.  Most modern Witches keep a Book of Shadows, (BOS) or Grimoire, which is more like an individuals workbook, journal, or diary, meaningful to the person who keeps it. This book contains rituals, discoveries, spells, poetry, herb lore, etc. Covens almost always keep a similar group book. I am not exactly sure how the name "Book of Shadows" came to be, but I would assume that this also ties into the Burning Times when the church set out to eliminate all texts along with the followers of the old ways. The writings that existed were more than likely were taken into the shadows and hidden with the survivors.

HOW TO DEAL WITH UNPLEASANT PEOPLE

People who are negative usually are responsible for their own destruction Karma deals with them in the way it sees fit. This exercise is about putting negative/aggressive people on a Karmic wheel and very useful for dealing with injustice and hostility.

When someone subjects you to a barrage of criticism and treats you unfairly and aggressively and especially those who interfere with your own life's journey, visualise a huge ferris wheel covered in bright golden lights and plush ornate seats.

Visualise yourself leading the perpetrator of the pain to one of the seats. Wish them well but ask that their adverse behaviour and influence on your life may be transformed in love by the Cosmos and that he/she may follow their own destiny and not intrude on yours.

Visualise yourself waving and smiling to them and the wheel beginning to rise along with gentle and beautiful music, then turn away and ask the Cosmos to send you positive people who will help you boost your self esteem.

This exercise is very beneficial and effective if someone is harrassing you, as you watch the figure rise, he/she will often stop, look puzzled and wander off.

RITUAL FOR SENDING BACK NEGATIVITY TO WHERE IT ORIGINATED

It is never justifiable to curse or hex anyone, it is wrong and you have to remember the laws of the Universe what you give out you will get back tenfold. However that does not mean you have to tolerate being bullied or attacked by anyone for this can result in unhappiness and can if it goes on resulting in physical illness. Sometimes no matter what you do to try and resolve something and even report it to the appropriate authority that doesn't cause it to cease. You cannot wish ill on them for bad vibes will always rebound on the sender of negative magic but what you can do is return the pain to the perpetrator. You are not mentioning names but merely returning ill will and negativity back to where it came from.

This ritual is most effective when carried out at the time of a waning moon or on any moonless night.

Method and ingredients

Take nine iron nails (carpet tacks will do) and place them in a dark glass bottle with sprigs of rosemary, sour milk that's begun to curdle and some cheap red wine that has gone sour
Cork the bottle and shake it saying: "May venom and viciousness coil like poisonous snakes and bottle up the evil that is done to me"
Purify a drain with a few drops of fenugreek or pine dissolved in warm water with a sprinkling of some salt.
Shake the bottle well and tip the contents down the drain saying words such as:

Pain, misery flow from me
Flow not to the sea
Flow back to he or she
Inflicter of disharmony
Wheresoever you may be

You can do this ritual also for anonymous letters, phone calls or unidentifiable malice
Rinse out the bottle with very hot water and tip any remnants away, rinsing until the water from the bottle runs clear
When the bottle is empty say:

I have returned the pain
Send it not again

Purify the bottle by placing a clear quartz crystal in it with pure spring water and leave it uncorked for a sun and moon cycle

I have performed this many times to good effect to send back negativity to where it originated

RITUAL TO RID YOURSELF OF NEGATIVE ENERGIES
OF SOMEONE WHO IS MENTALLY OR EMOTIONALLY ABUSING YOU

The purpose of this spell is to rid yourself of the negative energies of someone who is mentally or emotionally abusing you. If done properly, it will not harm the object of the spell nor will it affect his or her daily life in any way. It will simply make the person powerless to mentally or emotionally harm you.

Perform when Moon is dark

Materials:
  • Small cloth doll,(poppet) leave the head unstitched until you are ready to begin the ritual Needle and thread
  • Some personal item from the person you want to bind (fingernail clippings, hair, handwriting sample)
  • Black ribbon
  • Black candle
  • Cauldron or other fireproof container
  • Sterilized needle
  • Piece of parchment paper and pen or quill
  • One candle at each quarter (optional)
Ritual:

Call the quarters - I like to use candles at each quarter to form a circle of fire for extra protection. Light the black candle Concentrating deeply on the person you are binding, place the personal object inside the head of the doll and sew it shut.Tie the black ribbon around the poppet's head, signifying the binding of that person.

'With harm to none, my will be done
I hereby bind you (name of person)
Your words cannot harm me
Your thoughts cannot harm me
You cannot harm me'

Continue chanting this or something like it until you feel power surging through you. Visualize the person helpless to slander or verbally and mentally abuse you while you are chanting.

~ Now, to bind the spell ~
If you have a sigil or a craft name, sign it on the small piece of paper. If not, sign your own full name. If others are working the ritual with you, they too should sign the paper. With the sterilized needle, prick one of your fingers and put a small drop of blood over your signature. Again, if others are working with you, they should place a drop of blood over their signatures. (using a different needle, of course) Fold the paper, light it on fire and drop it into the cauldron (which should be on a heat-proof surface!). Meditate on the flames until the paper completely burns away. If you are working with a group, join hands at this point and feel the power surging around the circle as the spell is bound. Ground and center

Release the circle. Thank the Goddess and God for their protection and power Bury the doll as far away from you as possible within the next few days.

PSYCHIC QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

PSYCHIC QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

IS IT REALLY POSSIBLE TO FORECAST THE FUTURE AND OTHER QUESTIONS?

I am often asked various questions pertaining to the spirit world and various aspects of the psychic, here are some of them: I will in time feature more questions and answers as this webpage evolves

Q. Is a psychic or medium a fortune teller?
A. It may surprise you to know psychics and mediums are not fortune tellers
Q. Is it possible to forecast the future?
A.Well not 100% and this is because of free will.
Q. What is free will?
A. Free will is YOUR right to decide what you want to do about a situation, it is a choice
Q. How does free will affect a situation?
A. Well before we incarnate as Spirit in a human body, we decide on what experiences and challenges that will benefit our spiritual growth. However we are given the choice (free will) as to whether we go through with the experience or challenge. In effect we are allowed to change or mind.
Q. So are you saying we all know what lies before us?
A. Well in a way we all do. Remember we are 'Spirit' in a human body and your spirit does retain a memory but it is deep in our subconscious. This memory is retained deeply for a reason to help us fulfill our experiences and challenges we ourselves chose. However it is also at this deep level so we are not so aware. If you knew what lay before you would you go through with it? Probably not but we still retain this memory deeply and this reflects in our Aura.
Q. So what is the Aura?
A.The aura is The Aura is an electromagnetic field that surrounds living bodies, this includes people, animals, plants and crystals and is composed of several layers that are constantly moving. The Aura links us to whats known as Universal energy i.e. that is all the knowledge in the Universe past, present and future. It is on this aura that psychics are able to tap into and access your past, whats going on in the present and the possible future and I say possible specifically if your goal or desire is dependent on other people, for remember every person involved in a situation has free will.
