I am a great believer in Karma, but just what is it? Karma comes from the Sanskrit and ancient Indian Language with the underlying principal that every deed in our lives will affect our future life. For example, if we treat others badly during our lifetime we will have negative experiences later on in that lifetime or in future lifetimes. Likewise, if we treat others well we will be rewarded by positive experiences.

THE NEW MOON

The new moon It's a powerful time for sending out your prayer, wishes, desires to the Universe.

According to astrology, the moon's cycle can affect the way we feel about things. In particular, when the moon is full or new, both males and females can experience dramatic changes in their mood and behavior.

When the moon is full, stress becomes a major factor and people become more sensitive to details. An overload of work will add to the frustration and people will deal with their own needs rather than paying attention to others' needs. Often, a lack of assertiveness will be obvious.

When the Moon is new, the Sun and Moon are aligned in the same sign, and a powerful energy portal is opened. New Moons are a great time to set intentions for things you'd like to create, develop, cultivate, make manifest. There are many ways to initiate this communion with the Universe from lighting a candle to elaborate rituals. What matters is that you're committing yourself to your vision, and open to receiving guidance, healing, support from Spirit. A new moon brings with it the sense of calmness. In this moon cycle, people's emotions get back to normal, their determination will return with the feeling that anything can be accomplished, and there will be more energy and acceptance of other other's ideas.

MOON PHASES 2013

MOON PHASES 2013

Why moon phases are important?

People are often affected by the different phases it's no coincidence the word 'lunatic' was coined from the Latin word 'Luna' meaning the moon, after all we know how the moon affects the tides and we as humans are 70% water so we are likely to be affected by the moon's gravitational pull too.

The dark moon (new moon) is often associated with negativity and not the best time for being creative or signing documents, however it is a time for planning and wishing and positive spells as the power builds up as the moon waxes until the full moon.

The full moon is at it's most positive and most powerful

The waning moon is a time for closure and for conducting spells associated with endings and sending back negativity

AN EXAMPLE OF A SPELL THAT SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT WHEN THE MOON IS WANING

A SPELL 'SENDING BACK THE PAIN'

RITUAL FOR SENDING BACK NEGATIVITY TO WHERE IT ORIGINATED

It is never justifiable to curse or hex anyone, it is wrong and you have to remember the laws of the Universe what you give out you will get back tenfold. However that does not mean you have to tolerate being bullied or attacked by anyone for this can result in unhappiness and can if it goes on resulting in physical illness. Sometimes no matter what you do to try and resolve something and even report it to the appropriate authority that doesn't cause it to cease. You cannot wish ill on them for bad vibes will always rebound on the sender of negative magic but what you can do is return the pain to the perpetrator. You are not mentioning names but merely returning ill will and negativity back to where it came from.

This ritual is most effective when carried out at the time of a waning moon or on any moonless night.

Method and ingredients

Take nine iron nails (carpet tacks will do) and place them in a dark glass bottle with sprigs of rosemary, sour milk that's begun to curdle and some cheap red wine that has gone sour
Cork the bottle and shake it saying: "May venom and viciousness coil like poisonous snakes and bottle up the evil that is done to me"
Purify a drain with a few drops of fenugreek or pine dissolved in warm water with a sprinkling of some salt.
Shake the bottle well and tip the contents down the drain saying words such as:

Pain, misery flow from me
Flow not to the sea
Flow back to he or she
Inflicter of disharmony
Wheresoever you may be

You can do this ritual also for anonymous letters, phone calls or unidentifiable malice
Rinse out the bottle with very hot water and tip any remnants away, rinsing until the water from the bottle runs clear
When the bottle is empty say:

I have returned the pain
Send it not again

Purify the bottle by placing a clear quartz crystal in it with pure spring water and leave it uncorked for a sun and moon cycle

I have performed this many times to good effect to send back negativity to where it originated

AN EXAMPLE OF A SPELL WHICH SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT WHEN THE MOON IS WAXING

MANIFESTING WISHES

CANDLE MAGIC

Candle magic has been used for centuries in homes and churches alike. It is a powerful force and can be effectively utilized when making requests of your angels, guides or deity. In many churches, continuous candle burning is commonplace and used to petition Angels and Saints.

Seven day vigil candles are frequently used for magic and religious purposes. They are easily found in discount stores, even many grocery stores. Usually found in tall glass containers, these candles can be clear or decorated with pictures of Angels and Saints. Seven day candles are used when energy should be concentrated and sustained. These candles are usually lit with intention and allowed to burn freely until nothing is left. The glass containers with the picture of the particular angel you are petitioning can be very effective. However, in this case, you will be using a candle that is not housed in a glass container.

First find a suitable candle. Using a candle in the color appropriate for the Angel or Archangel from whom you are requesting help will add additional power. Next obtain crystal headed pins in seven different colors: white, black, yellow, orange, red, blue and green. Regular color pins will work, but the crystal heads will add something special to your angelic work. You may need to obtain them from a fabric store or florist, if your local stores don't carry crystal headed pins.

Take out your candle and using normal precautionary steps, use the pins with your candle in the following manner. Divide the candle into seven equal parts by inserting six of the pins into it in intervals. The seventh pin should be inserted at either the top or bottom. If you wish to insert them according to the chakra colors that is fine. Make sure the pins are fully inserted into the candle.

The next step requires a piece of paper and a pen. If you want to add extra power to your intention, don't just grab a piece of computer paper. Use beautiful stationery, or even make your own paper. It is best to use a large piece of paper. With a quality pen or quill and ink, write down seven wishes. Take the time to think out your wishes and make them very clear. Wishing for a new car, could lead to an accident and needing to replace your car. Wishing for a relationship might bring an ogre to your door. Instead of wishing for a new job, wish for one that will utilize your artistic skills, etc. Keep in mind the old saying be careful what you wish for.

Now, fold the paper at a ninety degree angle and write your name over your wishes. Fold the paper again and write your name. Continue until you have folded the paper seven times. You will end up with a triangle of paper.

For the next step, anoint the candle being careful not to dislodge any of the crystal pins. Place the folded paper under the candle. Burn the candle on seven consecutive nights. Each time you light the candle pay attention to any revelations or angelic signs you may receive.

Each time a pin falls, pinch out the flame, saving the pin. Do not blow out the flame as it scatters the energy of the candle, the wishes and the intention. When all of the pins have fallen, insert them into the paper in the following manner. The white-headed pin should be inserted at the top of the triangle pointing downward. The black pin from the bottom toward the top point of the triangle. The orange pin should be inserted from the left side, the yellow from the right side. The green pin should be placed between the orange and black pins with the tip at a 45 degree angle. The blue pin should be the opposite of the green pin. Finally insert the red pin into the middle of the folded piece of paper.

Some older traditions recommend that the final step be burying the paper, pins and wax under your doorstep. In the modern world, people seldom have doorsteps that have space under them that can be used for burying. Another way to finalize your wishes would be to burn the paper and blow the ashes into the air, carrying it to the angels one last time.

Be alert and pay attention to any signs, messages or even miraculous happenings that your angel provides. By petitioning your angel, your wishes can come true.

THE MOON DIET PLAN

CURRENT MOON

This diet plan comes from courtesy of

The Moon Diet Plan

It's well known that the moon affects the earth's oceans and rivers with its gravitational pull. It is less known that the moon also affects the water contained in the human body. The moon diet takes advantage of the moon's power to help you cleanse your body and lose weight. On certain days you can lose up to 6 lbs in a single 24-hour period!

The Moon's Effect on the Body

Human knowledge and mythology throughout time have spoken of the moon's effect on the earth and the human body. The moon's gravitational pull dictates the action of the ocean's tides. A woman's menstrual cycle runs in parallel to the cycle of the moon. Some believe the moon affects the emotions—for example, the full moon stimulates aggressive behavior.

In addition, the moon can affect the water contained in the human body. The human body is 60% water. When the moon reaches its full phase and new phase, its gravitational pull combines with the sun for the greatest gravitational effect. This period of increased effect lasts about 24 hours.

Two Plans

There are two moon diet plans—basic and extended.
  1. The basic moon diet plan consists of a 24-hour fasting day in which you consume only water and juice. It must take place during either the full moon or the new moon. During the fasting day your body is cleansed of toxins, and you can lose up to 6 lbs of water weight in one day.

  2. The extended moon diet plan begins with a fasting day on a full moon, as described by the basic moon diet plan, then provides additional guidelines for weight loss and healthy eating during each of the major phases of the moon.
In addition, each of these plans is compatible with many other diet programs. Combining the moon diet with another diet program can give you an extra boost in your weight loss efforts. The fasting days of the basic moon diet plan can be implemented in many weight loss programs. A single day of consuming only water and fresh juice simply detoxifies your body, and the lack of toxins makes further weight loss even easier.

The moon diet also helps you decide when to start a new diet plan. The period of the waning moon that immediately follows the full moon is often the best time to start dieting, due to the corresponding decrease in the body's appetites and cravings.

For example, if you are familiar with the very popular HCG diet, here's how it would work: The loading days would begin during the two days immediately prior to the full moon, when food cravings are at their height. The low-calorie phase would begin on the first day after the full moon, when due to the waning moon, cravings begin to decrease and the body enjoys a natural detoxifying stage. While on the HCG diet, you might also choose to enjoy a fasting day during the next new moon or full moon (it is allowed on the protocol because you are not required to consume the full allotment of calories). You can also follow almost all of the guidelines for the waxing and waning phases of the moon (see extended moon diet) during the HCG diet.

Benefits of the Moon Diet

Besides the potential to lose 6 lbs in a single day, the moon diet is also a great way to detox your body and improve your immunity. Furthermore, it can also be used to lose additional weight throughout the moon's cycle and to boost the effectiveness of other diet plans.

If your hectic lifestyle makes it hard for you to cook special foods or stick to lengthy, demanding schedules, the moon diet can be a great way to lose some weight and help you feel lighter and healthier.

Many women worldwide have seen positive results from the moon diet, and it poses no health risks; however, it is always recommended that you speak to your doctor before starting a diet. Note that fasting is not recommended for women who are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding a baby.

MOON MYTHOLOGY~MAKING USE OF THE MOON

THE NEW MOON

A fair number of astrologers believe that the day of the new moon each month is a power day that can be accessed to change or improve your life. Some astrologers liken these days to 'wishing' days - in which the correct wish, expressed in the correct way, has the power to come true. Others look at the two week period after the new moon as a time to sow seeds that can be later reaped for favorable results. The metaphors some use are those of 'birth' or 'newness', 'fresh start', or even simply increased focus on the sign and house where the new moon falls.

You may use whatever metaphor or conception that suits you, but let's look for a moment at the astrological symbolism to get an idea how the new moon presents a special opportunity each month. Roughly speaking, the moon represents the subconscious mind, and the sun the conscious one. The sun also symbolically represents the driving force of our daily lives.

The moon, however, works at night, reflecting on the activities of the day, attempting to integrate them, understand them, to see how we can resolve potential conflicts they generate. The moon represents the power engine that underlies our conscious thought, the machine that is always humming beneath the surface of our lives, generating the energy that fuels us, keeping us going. When the subconscious and conscious minds are in conflict (astrologically, when the sun and moon are in conflict), the subconscious always has the upper hand, inconvenient and illogical as that may seem from time to time. All of our conscious attempts to lose weight, for example, can be sabotaged by a subconscious association between weight and safety. The Moon represents our needs, the Sun our wants. And when our needs come into conflict with our wants, the primacy of need usually wins, somehow or another.

The magic of the new moon is that for one day each month - the sun and the moon are on exactly the same page. This is not the normal state of affairs astrologically, and it isn't the normal state of affairs in human life. Balancing the relationship between our wants and needs, conscious and subconscious minds, our drive to do and our craving to reflect and find meaning is an ongoing process, dynamic, always in flux. It is normal for every person to experience a continuing range of compromises and adjustments in dealing with both needs and wants. It is, in fact, so normal, that many of us take it for granted and don't give it a second thought.

For one day each month, however, both the moon and the sun are willing to get together and have a brief conversation about how wants and needs can be merged, how the subconscious and conscious minds can work together. This is a great thing! It does indeed represent a wonderful opportunity.

Here's how you might take advantage of it: On the day of the new moon each month, allow yourself to experience the full intensity of your biggest or most immediate want. Perhaps it is as simple as the desire for a sexy new car - or an overarching desire to succeed in your career. Just allow yourself to feel how much you want it. That night, take fifteen minutes to allow your subsconscious to reflect on and talk to you about that want. What does it feel like, what are the hesitations, doubts, and fears, what need does it represent? You may write out your thoughts, or think quietly to yourself.

This is an important step. It wouldn't be a want or a wish if you had already fulfilled it! Since you haven't, there must be something blocking that fulfillment. The moon, the subconscious, is the key to finding out what that block is. Your conscious mind may tell you the reason you don't have a sexy new car is because you don't have the money right now. Your subconscious mind may tell you it's because your family will ostracize you if you become a sexy new person instead of the responsible, self-denying, practical car driving person they expect.

Ask your subconscious and conscious minds what they would like to do about fulfilling your wish. Your Sun may say - now that it knows what the problem is - let the family adjust. Knowing you'll probably get some flack, just be prepared to deal with it. Your Moon might say - wouldn't it feel so good to see that sexy symbol of your sexy, confident inner self sitting in the driveway.

Now that you know what's at stake with this particular wish, your Sun can go off and do it's business of calculating out how you are going to pay for this car, and your moon can on about it's business of reminding you that you need to validate yourself as a sexy, deserving person sometimes. The sun can help deal with the moon's fear of alienating family members, and the moon can help give the sun the motivation it needs to take the actions that will meet your needs. Perhaps you don't need a car at all - perhaps you need to adjust your relationships with your family members. The two luminaries working together can help you figure this sort of thing out.

This is something all of us should do anyway. Taking 15 minutes once a month to problem-solve and take stock of our desires is something any success guru can tell you is the minimum investment you should make in your future. Your Sun can take you many places - but none of them will be worth visiting unless they meet the needs of your moon as well.

FULL MOON

The new moon is the time each month when the sun and the moon (conscious and subconscious minds) are the same page. The full moon is the time each month when they are on the opposite page! Your willpower tells you to do one thing, while your subconscious mind wants to do exactly the opposite.

This element of friction has given rise to a lot of speculation about various full moon effects on mental ward admissions and other minor upsets. This doesn't bear out statistically. Most of the time, for most people, the full moon doesn't have very much effect. In fact, the moon's influence on the earth is only slightly increased at the time of the full moon. On occasion, this slight increase can be enough to tip the balance and lead to a shake-up for an individual person, or even a flood of emotions. But this happens quite rarely really, and it happens only when there is pre-existing stress or strain in a person's chart (and life) that needs to be released.

In general, the full moon is associated astrologically with things like culmination, fullness, endings, and emotions. This may or may not be true in each individual case, but there's a fun way to put the full moon energy to use.

The full moon is related to endings and completion, but it is also related to conflict between the conscious and subconscious desires. And the subconscious wins! So, once each month, put this to work for you. By crossing something off your conscious to-do list. Almost all of us build up a mental bank of things we think we really ought to do but are subconsciously dreading and would rather skip entirely. At the time of the full moon, cross one of those things off your list - and honor the fact that your subconscious feelings don't always line up with your conscious beliefs.

Let's say you feel like you really ought to invite your mother-in-law over for an elegant dinner to show off your new house. But deep down you're dreading it and you even know, intuitively, that she doesn't really want to be impressed by your new house and your hostessing skills - they will only excite a certain envy and desire to criticize. Cross that task off your list - permanently. It wasn't a good idea anyway, although it may have seemed that way at first. She'll come over on a more relaxed occasion and you can all spare yourself an unnecessary ordeal.

Almost everyone has at least one thing each month they can cross off their list of imaginary obligations. You can check the sign and house positions of each full moon for an idea kit of what you may be able to rid yourself of during each particular month.

If you can get yourself in the habit of deleting one unnecessary to-do item each month, the full moon will start to become a real treat. A way of indulging and honoring that occasionally grumpy, but very useful and necessary mechanism inside us that wants to avoid what's not emotionally fulfilling anyway. And everything we get rid of that doesn't serve us leaves a little more room for joy.

PSYCHIC QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

PSYCHIC QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

IS IT REALLY POSSIBLE TO FORECAST THE FUTURE AND OTHER QUESTIONS?

I am often asked various questions pertaining to the spirit world and various aspects of the psychic, here are some of them: I will in time feature more questions and answers as this webpage evolves

Q. Is a psychic or medium a fortune teller?
A. It may surprise you to know psychics and mediums are not fortune tellers
Q. Is it possible to forecast the future?
A.Well not 100% and this is because of free will.
Q. What is free will?
A. Free will is YOUR right to decide what you want to do about a situation, it is a choice
Q. How does free will affect a situation?
A. Well before we incarnate as Spirit in a human body, we decide on what experiences and challenges that will benefit our spiritual growth. However we are given the choice (free will) as to whether we go through with the experience or challenge. In effect we are allowed to change or mind.
Q. So are you saying we all know what lies before us?
A. Well in a way we all do. Remember we are 'Spirit' in a human body and your spirit does retain a memory but it is deep in our subconscious. This memory is retained deeply for a reason to help us fulfill our experiences and challenges we ourselves chose. However it is also at this deep level so we are not so aware. If you knew what lay before you would you go through with it? Probably not but we still retain this memory deeply and this reflects in our Aura.
Q. So what is the Aura?
A.The aura is The Aura is an electromagnetic field that surrounds living bodies, this includes people, animals, plants and crystals and is composed of several layers that are constantly moving. The Aura links us to whats known as Universal energy i.e. that is all the knowledge in the Universe past, present and future. It is on this aura that psychics are able to tap into and access your past, whats going on in the present and the possible future and I say possible specifically if your goal or desire is dependent on other people, for remember every person involved in a situation has free will.
